MANGA SKETCHING AMIDST THE MANILA QUARANTINE!

Hey guys!

I got another art vlog that I'd like to share with you today! One thing that I love to do during my coffee breaks at work is to sketch. Actually, I've been doing this since I was in high school, especially when classes get boring. You would find loads of sketches at the back of my books and notebooks. And when I get home from school, I would turn on the TV to watch my favorite ANIME shows even before I take off my school uniform. I'd freeze the PIP screen when I see a good headshot of my favorite characters, then, I'd sketch them on bond papers. I think I still have those sketches at my parents' house until now.

Anyway, about two decades after, I'm still doing it! I guess I'll never really outgrow this anime obsession no matter how old I get. Even if I wear suits and heels when I'm at work, deep deep down inside, I'm still an anime fangirl! If you're an otaku like me, maybe you'll like my blog post about the anime shows I've watched early this year that focus on chasing after dreams. Anime is my sweet escape from reality, but, I am also learning a hell lot from it!

Seriously, some the best lessons I've learned throughout my life are mostly from anime. When I'm watching anime, I learn a lot about personal struggles, love, friendship, family issues and other societal crap. I know I would get a lot of rolling eyes when I say I'd rather spend an entire night watching anime rather than attend a booze party. I can drink! Don't get me wrong. It's not like I haven't been to bars and night clubs. It's just that, that's not a regular event for me...and I only do it when I am with people that I trust and I make sure not to drink beyond my limits. I'm not ignorant about the adult life, it's just that, I will forever choose to nurture my inner child.

What have you been doing these days? I'd like to know what you've been up to lately. If you're from a different country, I'd like to know how your country's been holding up to this world crisis. Leave a comment down below, I love reading comments!

Thanks for making time to read this post and I hope you'd enjoy watching this manga sketching vlog that I made last May!

Stay safe and healthy, you guys!
